- The personal service setting is kept free from animals
- Ensure that the personal service setting is kept free from animals, including birds, aquatic species and reptiles.
- Single use equipment, instruments and supplies are discarded appropriately and immediately after use.
- Do not save nail files, buffers for re-use if they are not designed to be reprocessed.
- Disinfection records are kept.
- Ensure the name of the disinfectant utilized is recorded.
- Ensure the concentration of the disinfectant utilized is recorded.
- Ensure the date the disinfectant was prepared is recorded.
- Ensure that the date the disinfectant must be discarded is recorded.
- Ensure operator maintains records in a secure location onsite for one year and made available to a public heath inspector for two years afterwards.
