- No written procedures for following tasks: -client care in the event of an accidental skin cut or puncture-the cleansing of skin and mucous membrane Provide written procedures for the tasks noted.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- 1) Manicure and pedicure tools were not rinsed after soaking. Follow the manufacturer's instructions.2) No all three PREempt CS20 disinfectants were recorded. Record each PREempt CS20 disinfectant daily.3) Hospital Disinfectant with 5 minutes contact time. No sure if adequate contact time was reached if the tub was spray down once only. There was debris build-up on the jet parts. Spray down the tub twice to ensure adequate contact time is reached and take apart the tub jets to make sure they are washed and disinfected.
