    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • The disinfectant used on the reusable nail equipment is T36 Disinfectant. This is considered an intermediate level disinfectant. Semi-critical equipment such as nail clippers, nippers and cuticle pushers require a high-level disinfectant. Of note, there was a bottle of PreEmpt CS-20 (an appropriate high-level disinfectant) found in the cupboard, but it had expired. Please obtain a high-level disinfectant (requires a DIN and a high-level disinfectant claim on label) for use on reusable nail equipment.
