    • 02. Is the bacteriological quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Critical)?
      • Pseudomonas aeruginosa was isolated in the Sept 14, 2026 water sample. In discussion with the operator, the basin was thoroughly cleaned during the shutdown. We discussed bringing the Free Chlorine to 10ppm overnight and to submit a water sample on the following Monday. Until the water results come back free from Pseudomonas, please try to keep the Free chlorine above 2ppm.Sept 21 update- The hot tub was shocked and a water sample was submitted.
    • 03. Is the bacteriological quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Non-Critical)?
      • The Sept 14/26 water sample result for Heterotrophic Plate Count (HPC) is greater than 57,000 cfu/ml. High HPC is often found in low chlorinated water, or if large amounts of contaminates are introduced. The inspection on Sept 16 found satisfactory levels of chlorine in the hot tub. Please submit a Resample on Monday to determine if the HPC is lowered.Sept 21- A water sample was submitted Sept 21, 2026

      • A water inlet cover is not installed properly on the water inlet pipe. Action shall be taken to replace/repair the cover. The improper inlet cap can cause a physical Hazzard to the client.
    • 12. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Critical)?
      • Debris is present at the bottom of the hot tub. Action shall be taken to clean all debris up prior to opening to the public.

      • The water in the whirl pool was high enough to skim the pool. The water high was adjusted during the inspection to allow for pool skimming.

    • 16. Are proper testing, monitoring, and other records being properly maintained?
      • Record keeping showed that hot tub Cl levels were low (0.28 ppm) and there was a gap in the record keeping times as to what happened before adjusting Cl levels. Operator confirmed that hot tub was shut down and levels were adjusted, however this was not documented in the record keeping logs in the mechanical room. Please ensure proper record keeping of water quality and actions taken to adjust water quality is documented.
