      • There were no written procedures for cleansing of skin and client care in the event of an accidental skin cut or puncture. Completed written procedures with the operator at the time of inspection using the AHS templates.
    • 08. Is hand hygiene performed by the personal services worker when required, in a proper manner and are provisions available to perform hand hygiene?
      • A reusable towel was provided in the washroom for drying hands.Provide single use paper towels in a suitable dispenser.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1) Test strips were not available for CS20, a high-level disinfectant.2) A high-level disinfectant log was not available to confirm the minimum effective concentration.Provide test strips and maintain a log for CS20. Alternatively, use a low-level disinfectant for facial bowls at minimum.
