      • The whirlpool uses floating weirs as part of its skimming system.The whirlpool has three skimmers, all of which were damaged and require repair or replacement. Each skimmer consists of a basket and a floating weir sleeve that should be securely attached to the basket. One skimmer was missing the floating weir entirely, and the remaining two had floating weirs that were detached and freely floating within the skimmer.Please ensure the skimmers are repaired or replaced so the floating weirs are properly attached and able to float freely at the water surface. The top of the weir should remain near the water surface to effectively break the surface tension and draw floating debris and other surface contaminants into the skimmer, allowing the skimming system to function as intended.
