- 03. Are facility-specific written procedures established to adequately describe safe and sanitary practices?
- The following written procedures was not available in the facility: -skin cleansing procedure-accidental skin cuts procedure -post service care procedure. Operator filled the form which was signed by PHI.-Ensure there is written procedures for preparation of the skin before waxing and client care and post service care for accidental cut.
- 08. Is hand hygiene performed by the personal services worker when required, in a proper manner and are provisions available to perform hand hygiene?
- There was no paper tower at the handwash station of staff washroom and laundry room. Operator provided a paper towel.-Ensure there is a paper towel dispenser dispensing paper towel for hand drying at handwashing station.
- 15. Is reusable equipment handled and stored properly (Critical)?
- Brushes and hair equipment stored in the drawers and shelves had hair debris.-Ensure all reuseable items are kept clean and stored correctly.
