No other test strips were observed during the inspection to verify high-level disinfectant concentration levels.April 15,2026: Information regarding the appropriate sanitizer test strips was provided during the inspection. The operator indicated that she would place an order and, in the interim, will not reuse the sanitizer solution. Obtain product-specific test strips to verify high-level disinfectant concentration levels. Until the appropriate test strips are obtained and available for use, do not reuse the disinfectant solution, as the concentration cannot be verified to ensure effectiveness.

    • 08. Is hand hygiene performed by the personal services worker when required, in a proper manner and are provisions available to perform hand hygiene?
      • Paper towels were not available at the handwashing station or the reprocessing sink area. During the interim period, reusable towels laundered onsite were being used as single-use towels until new supplies arrive.Ensure that single-use paper towels are provided at all handwashing and reprocessing sinks at all times.

      • Reusable semi-critical equipment and drill bits were observed placed on a reusable towel at the nail workstation and on a salon trolley in the spa room. No system or visual indicators were in place to clearly identify whether the items had been reprocessed (clean) or were contaminated/used.Ensure that clean and contaminated equipment are stored separately and clearly identified at all times to prevent cross-contamination.
