Therefore, the flow rate cannot exceed 100 gpm (which will result in the rate of filtration 13.97 gpm/ft2), if the chemical and microbiological parameters can be maintained, or the flow rate must be lowered to 90 gpm to provide the rate of filtration 12.5 gpm/ft2.

At the time of the inspection, the flow meters were not operating properly. Ensure that the flow rate for the system does not exceed the maximum allowed flow rate for the main drain covers.
