Inspection summary
EDGEWOOD LINKS has been inspected 3 times by Ottawa Public Health since September 10, 2024. The most recent inspection, on May 25, 2026, recorded 5 infractions.
1 of 3 inspections on record found no infractions at all. In the past 12 months there was 1 inspection with 5 infractions recorded. All recorded findings relate to upkeep, equipment or paperwork rather than water quality or direct safety risks.
What these findings mean
Health authorities word their findings differently, so we group them by what they mean for the people using the facility. Higher-risk findings are the ones that could directly cause illness or injury, such as water that is not properly treated.
Permits, records and postingLower risk
Operating permits, water-test logs, posted bather rules and emergency procedures. Daily test logs are how operators show the water was checked and treated between inspections.
Recorded once on May 25, 2026. For example:
The owner and operator of the small drinking water system shall ensure that required documents and other records are kept for at least 5 years.
Equipment and utensilsLower risk
Pumps, filters, chemical feeders and safety equipment such as lifebuoys, reaching poles and first-aid kits must be present and working. Missing safety equipment can matter a great deal in an emergency.
Recorded once on May 25, 2026. For example:
Frequency of sampling and equipment checks meet the requirements of the Regulation.
Other findingsLower risk
Findings that do not fit the categories above, such as follow-ups that confirm an earlier violation was corrected, or requirements specific to this type of facility.
Recorded 4 times across 2 separate inspections, most recently on May 25, 2026. For example:
The owner and operator of a small drinking water system shall ensure that water test results, directives, and a copy of the regulation is available for inspection at a location reasonably convenient to the public, during hours of operation without charge.
