- The metal stairs appear to be intact and structural sound. The existing metal stairs do not require replacement at this time. There are areas on the metal stairs that have rust and water hardness build-up. It is requested that these deficient areas are repaired to ensure the rust and hardness build-up is removed and the deficient area resurfaced to be intact and easily cleanable. Also noted were red stair nosing strips installed on each step. They nosing strips appear secure and not a trip or slip hazard.
