    • 03. Are facility-specific written procedures established to adequately describe safe and sanitary practices?
      • There are no documented procedures available for the cleaning and disinfection of the multipurpose sink.Please provide written procedures for dual purpose sink.
    • 10. Is cleansing and antisepsis of skin and mucous membrane performed in accordance to written procedures and are suitable products being used?
      • Expired 2022 antiseptic wipes were observed during the inspection. Please replace as required.
    • 21. Is equipment that is intended to be sterile maintained sterile at the point of use?
      • Expired 2019 and 2022 permanent make cartridge needles were found during inspection. Discard all expired needles or remove from the service room.
    • 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
      • 1) Application of stem cells or exosomes products with microneedling is not allowed as per Health Canada. Such applications are considered drug use and require a Drug Identification Number (DIN) or Natural Product Number (NPN). these products may only be used for topical application and not in procedures involving penetration of the skin.Statement found on the Dr. Drawing SC control -stem cell antiaging skin ampoule is "For Topical and Cosmetic Use Only".2) Permanent make-up inks were expired. Discard all expired ink.

      • Health Canada banned micro needling Dr Pens (N2 & A7) are being used for microneedling. Please discontinue the use of N2 & A7 Dr. pens and replace them with Health Canada-approved microneedling devices.
