   • 17. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Critical)?
     • Semi-critical tools such as nippers are currently being disinfected using Preempt RTU, which is current designated as a medium-level disinfectant and insufficient for semi-critical equipment with confirmation recently provided by the AHS Provincial Personal Services Committee. Once the discussion regarding the matter was completed, the Owner/Operator indicated Preempt CS20 will be ordered and should arrive from the supplier tomorrow or the day after. Preempt RTU remains sufficient for use on bath basins and non-critical equipment (tools that are unlikely to come into contact non-intact skin or mucous membranes).
