- Staff are not cleaning lash tools adequately (see below violation). It is required written procedures on cleaning and sanitizing lash tools will need to be created and posted.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- 1. CS20 expired in 2023. Ensure disinfectant is within the expiry. 2. CS20 log has not been documented since February. Ensure CS20 is testing daily, or when services are being offered, and recorded. 3. Tweezers are not being cleaned with soap before placing in CS20. Ensure all tools are cleaned with a detergent before disinfection.
- 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
- Lashes stuck to the roll of disposable tape. Ensure all equipment is kept in a clean and sanitary condition.
