      • Sample collected on August 11, 2026:TC absentHPC 2,760 CFU/mLOperator Paul Jarvis was contacted. The chlorine was 1.9ppm and PH=7.1 this morning. Operator was informed to do the following: - Ensure chlorine level is maintained at typical level (~2ppm)- Ensure bathers take a shower before entering the pool- Ensure water chemistry is balanced- Ensure circulation and filtration systems are working properly and maintained- Ensure proper turnover- Resample next week

    • 04. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Critical)?
      • The PHI's conducted and recorded test results were;Free Chlorine = 0.49 ppmpH = 7.07As the ORP values could not be determined, the free Chlorine concentration was discussed with the operator to get it back to regulatory levels closer to 2 ppm.

      • The water sample collected on July 21, 2026, had these results: - Total Coliforms - Absent - HPC 180 CFU/mL ( allowed up to 100 CFU/mL )This is an Unsatisfactory result.This was discussed with the operator.Recommended course of action would be to: - shock chlorinate the pool tonight, when it is not in use. - rebalance the water chemistry in the morning and the pool can be re-opened for public use. - resample on Tuesday next week, as usual. - operator observations were - Free chlorine was a little low on Monday/Tuesday at 1.3 to 1.4 ppm - he then adjusted chlorinator for higher output; pH was steady at 7.3 and the bather load was heavier than normal ( with the nice hot weather ).

      • The water sample collected on Sept 9, 2025 had these results: - Total Coliforms - PRESENT - HPC 60 CFU/mLThis is an unsatisfactory result.Operator will need to shock chlorinate the pool, back wash the filter, re-balance the pool water chemistry and then the pool can be re-opened for public use.Please re-sample on Tuesday to confirm the inactivation of the bacteria.
