      • Cloth towel is being used for drying hands in the staff washroom.A sanitary method of drying hands must be used. Cloth towels for hand drying must be used once and put into laundry or use single use paper towels.

      • 1. Barbicide disinfectant is not being changed daily, on some stations the barbicide containers were not fully topped up.Follow manufacturer's instructions on use of disinfectant. Ensure disinfectant containers are topped up to ensure full immersion of combs.2. Combs are not being cleaned with soap and water before disinfection.Clean combs with soap and water before immersing them in disinfectant.

      • * Non-critical equipment is not being adequately cleaned and disinfected:-Used tweezers/scissors for waxing were left on the counter. Ensure waxing tools are cleaned and disinfected after each use.-Barbicide was cloudy and had hair; ensure manufacturer’s instructions are followed. Barbicide needs to be replaced daily. All tools disinfected in Barbicide need to first be cleaned with soap and water.**Ensure non-critical equipment is cleaned and disinfected using, at a minimum, a low-level disinfectant.

      • - The personal services facility is not maintained in a visibly clean state. Hard to reach areas (ex. Behind hair sinks, floor corners) had a build up of hair and debris. Ensure additional cleaning is done.
