    • 12. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Critical)?
      • Anti-entrapment plan updates provided, the following is outstanding: Two pumps are included on the plan. Maximum flow rating for each is required. The operator will confirm interconnectedness of sumps and pumps. Drawings available were proposed plans and likely do not represent what is in place. Operator is aware that if the jet pump is pulling from single main drain in basin - that a secondary anti-entrapment device will be required. Prior to purchase and install, the operator will provide the health inspector with the type, make and model of the secondary anti-entrapment device. Pumps:Champion 56 frame (recirc) and B&D BDXBTVAR300. Max flow of each pump separately to be determined. Picture of flow meter provided. Variable speed B&D pump, must be turned to its highest speed and flow measured. Ensure filters backwashed, skimmers turned off to get the reading. 2" lines out sumps for both recirculation and jet pumps. Covers:One cover has been replaced as it was cracked. Certificates of compliance provided for the new one and existing covers. Existing covers expire Sept 16, 2025. New cover will expire October 1, 2030 as there is a 7 year expiry from date of install. Please update new cover date in anti-entrapment plan. Covers are ANSI/APSP-16 compliant. Photo of new cover provided. SumpHayward WG1154AV sumps, and covers are WG1048E with corresponding WG1056C rings. Drawing and photos of sumps provided. No equalizer lines in placeActions: 1) Determine interconnectedness of sumps/pumps. If a single main drain situation exists, secondary anti-entrapment required - must be approved by health inspector prior to purchased and install. 2) Provide drawing that shows current piping schematic from hot tub basin to pump in mechanical room. 3) get max flow rates for each pump independently4) Update anti-entrapment plan and submit to health inspector.
