      • Surface on some manicure chairs was damaged and not easy to clean anymore. - Repair or replace any damaged surfaces.

      • Single used foam toe dividers are being reused. Found used mascara wands in waxing room. - Do not reuse disposable items on different clients as they could not be cleaned and disinfected adequately.

      • Debris accumulation found on some tools in UV sterilizer. - Clean tools more thoroughly before disinfection. Bottom of UV sterilizer was dirty. - Clean regularly.

      • Concentration of PreEmpt CS20 disinfectant for tool disinfection tested very weak below acceptable level. - The solution was replaced immediately. - Must change the solution daily or test and record concertation when reusing for multiple days.

      • Foot paddles are not being immersed in a high level disinfectant. They are only sprayed with PreEMPT CS20 that is not allowed at per manufacture instructions of the disinfectant. - Obtain a larger container for soaking/disinfecting foot paddles. Do not use foot paddles until an adequate soaking/disinfecting container is obtained and all the foot paddles are disinfected in a high level disinfect by immersing instead of spraying. - Ensure that tools are being rinsed after disinfection.

      • Found several used foam files and buffers in manicure stations. - Discard disposable items after each use. Found dirty disposable mascara wands in waxing room. - Discard disposable mascara wands after each use.

      • Foot paddles are not being immersed in a high level disinfectant. They are only sprayed with PreEMPT CS20 that is not allowed at per manufacture instructions of the disinfectant. - Obtain a larger container for soaking/disinfecting foot paddles. Do not use foot paddles until an adequate soaking/disinfecting container is obtained and all the foot paddles are disinfected in a high level disinfect by immersing instead of spraying. - Ensure that tools are being rinsed after disinfection. Staff was not sure how often PreEMPT CS20 is being changed because apparently only owner change the solution. Owner is not onsite daily. - Ensure that PreEMPT CS20 in a disinfecting container is changed daily. PreEMPT RTU disinfectant for surfaces was expired. - Obtain a new disinfectant. - Use disinfecting wipes that are available onsite for surface disinfection.

      • Nail dust and debris accumulation found on manicure stations and floor around pedicure chairs. - Clean surfaces and floors regularly.
