- The cleaning solution in the ultrasonic cleaner is changed on a weekly basis. Please ensure solution is changed daily and as needed when it becomes soiled.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- 1. The HLD5 solution is currently being changed on a weekly basis; however, its concentration has not been monitored or recorded to confirm its effectiveness for reuse.2. During inspection, the HLD5 solution in the container did not pass the test strip evaluation and was observed to contain dust and debris at the bottom. Please ensure that the high-level disinfectant is replaced either every 14 days or immediately if it fails the test strip test—whichever comes first.Please obtain non-expired test strips and begin testing the concentration of the HLD5 solution daily whenever it is in use. All results must be documented on a monitoring log to ensure proper tracking and compliance.
