      • Ensure fixtures and furniture are made of smooth and impermeable materials and are easy to clean. Maintain fixtures and furniture in good repair and sanitary condition.
    • Did operator discard single use equipment immediately after each use?
    • Did operator store and dispense products in a manner to prevent contamination?
      • Store products in a manner to prevent contamination.
      • Manicure/pedicure: Dispense products (e.g., paraffin wax, nail gels/powders) in a manner to prevent contamination.
      • Cover wax pot when not in use.
    • Did operator maintain records related to accidental exposures to blood or body fluids?
      • Ensure the records include: date of the accidental exposure, service being provided, part of the body that was exposed, name and contact information of person who provided the service, name and contact information of the person exposed, action taken by the service provider.
      • Keep records related to accidental exposures to blood or body fluids for one year at personal service setting and readily available for an additional two years.
      • Provide the records to a medical officer of health or public health inspector on request.
      • Clean and then low-level disinfect surfaces visibly soiled with blood and/or other body fluids as soon as possible.
