      • High Level Disinfectant was not available on site for use on reusable tools, such as tools used for doing nails.1) High Level Disinfectant Logs were not being completed at the time of Inspection.2) There were no High Level Disinfectant Test Strips on site at the time of Inspection.1/2 - Ensure that High Level Disinfectant Test Strips are being kept on site in order to confirm the concentration of Disinfectant being used. This information should be recorded daily in the High Level Disinfectant Log.This will help to ensure that high risk tools are being Disinfected adequately.

      • Some of the Sterile Blades were expired at the time of Inspection.Ensure that expired Blades are discarded and not used in order to prevent potential infection.This was Corrected during the Inspection.Sterile Blades had appropriate packaging with lot numbers and expiry dates at the time of Inspection.

      • There was no dedicated Reprocessing Sink at the time of Inspection.Ensure that 2 of the 3 Reprocessing Sinks are dedicated to Reprocessing equipment only in order to prevent potential cross contamination.This was Corrected during the Inspection.

      • There was no dedicated Hand Washing Sink for staff at the time of Inspection.Ensure that 1 of the 3 Reprocessing Sinks is dedicated to Hand Washing only in order to prevent potential cross contamination.This was Corrected during the Inspection.Hand Sinks were functional and fully stocked at the time of Inspection.
