- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- Semi-critical tools used for waxing such as metal scissors and tweezers were not being disinfected. Discussed disinfection with other semi-critical tools in CS20 and storing tools in a manner to prevent contamination once reprocessed.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- Test strips for CS20 were expired and must be replaced.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- CS20 was being reused without proper documentation proving daily satisfactory test strip tests to ensure concentration and/or that the 14-day maximum reuse period was followed. Template for reuse log sent with inspection report.
- 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
- Single use items, including but not limited to popsicle sticks for waxing, must be stored in a manner that protects them from contamination.

- Operator was spraying CS20 onto instruments between clients. Will purchase additional sets of semi-critical instruments and ensure they are submerged in CS20 for 20 minutes at end of day following cleaning and rinsing.
