- 1. The surface disinfectant, preempt RTU, had expiry since sept. 2021.-Please procure and use effective preempt RTU to ensure properly cleaning and disinfection of tools and surfaces.2. Reusable semi-critical tools such as diamond tips for microdermabrasion were sanitized with T36 disinfectant - an intermediate-level disinfectant.-Please procure and use high-level disinfectant such as preempt CS20 or HLD5 to sanitize such tools, and please follow the disinfectant's step-by-step cleaning and disinfection procedure.
- 21. Is equipment that is intended to be sterile maintained sterile at the point of use?
- Facility was not documenting sterility assurance records such as Lot number, expiry date and manufacturer's name of prepackaged sterile critical equipment (needles or cartridges) for clients who undergone invasive procedures.-Please maintain sterility assurance documentation for all clients who use prepackaged sterile critical equipment. Ensure the information are kept accessible with clients' contact information for at least two years.
