      • Written procedures not available. Ensure written procedures are completed. April 26, 2024: Some required written procedures were not observed. Please ensure written procedures as it applies to your operations are created, including skin cleansing, application of antiseptic, accidental skin cut or puncture, dual purpose sink (it appears the reprocessing sink in front is also used for handwashing at times).A template will be sent with this report.

      • Antiseptic being used did not have a NPN or DIN. Ensure product used is labeled as antiseptic and has either NPN number or DIN.April 26, 2024: An antiseptic with NPN or DIN was still not observed. Please ensure an appropriate antiseptic with either NPN or DIN is obtained. As discussed, no procedure that requires antisepsis should be conducted until an appropriate antiseptic is obtained.

      • 1. Disinfection time is not physically monitored. Ensure the contact time prescribed by manufacturer is physically monitored. 2. One disinfectant being used did not have a DIN. Ensure that disinfectants being used contain a DIN.

      • A sharps container was not available for disposal of piercing cartridges. Ensure that a puncture resistant container with a lid that seals is used to dispose of cartridges.
