Ensure product used is labeled as antiseptic and has either NPN number or DIN.April 26, 2024: An antiseptic with NPN or DIN was still not observed. Please ensure an appropriate antiseptic with either NPN or DIN is obtained. As discussed, no procedure that requires antisepsis should be conducted until an appropriate antiseptic is obtained.

      • A sharps container was not available for disposal of piercing cartridges. Ensure that a puncture resistant container with a lid that seals is used to dispose of cartridges.
