      • No paper towels and holder at the waxing room handwash sink.Provide paper towels with holder.

      • Used nail files were found in the manicure station. discard single use items after use.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1) PREempt CS 20 disinfectant failed the test strips. Staff stated that they added water to the PREempt CS20 disinfectant and using PREempt CS20 for more than one day. Staff changed the PREempt CS20 disinfectant during inspection. Required to test and log the PREempt CS20 disinfectant if it is used for multiple days. 2) PREempt RTU expired August 2024. Surfaces are not properly disinfected.3) Staff was not drying the manicure and pedicure tools before placing them in PREempt CS 20 disinfectant.Follow the manufacturer's instructions. 4) Drill bits were not cleaned and sanitized after use. Drill bits were found in the manicure station. Semi- critical tools need to clean and sanitize after use. 5) Flex Clean disinfectant was used to disinfect the foot tubs. This requires 10 minutes contact time. This will require to spray the foot tubs 3 times to ensure 10 minutes contact met.6) Tweezers using on pulling hair were soaked in alcohol. Disinfectant semi critical tools in high level disinfectant such as PREempt CS 20.

Debris build-up inside the cupboard. 4) Tools were stored in a dirty plastic woven basket.5) Wax was noted on the waxing room wall.6) Calcium build-up on the reprocessing sink tap. 7) Dust build-up next to dryer and washer.1 to 7) Please clean the salon.
