- Staff indicated that they use alcohol wipes on the piercing instruments after use in place of disinfectant. Alcohol is not an approved disinfectant solution. Switch to Oxiver intermediate level disinfectant wipes available onsite to disinfect the piercing instruments between clients. Accel Rescue high level disinfectant wipes available as well. These wipes are designed for hospital surfaces and are not intended to be used for personal services. Recommend discontinuing use of this product.
