    • Did operator disinfect equipment and surfaces?
      • Intermediate-level disinfect reusable equipment between each use to prevent disease transmission. - Provide an intermediate-level disinfectant and ensure it is easily accessible. Fully immerse equipment using 70-90% isopropyl or ethyl alcohol for 10 minutes. Discard the 70-90% isopropyl or ethyl alcohol immediately after one use.
      • Pedicure basin without recirculation: Clean and then at a minimum intermediate-level disinfect pipe-less footbath(s) and all removable parts (if applicable) after every use. First clean the footbath with detergent, water and a scrub brush. Rinse with clean water and then disinfect with an intermediate-level disinfectant for the recommended contact time.
      • Intermediate-level disinfectant: Mix 20 ml (4 tsps) of 5.25% bleach with 1 L (4 cups) of cold water. Ensure the equipment is fully immersed in the disinfectant for a minimum of 10 minutes. Prepare a fresh bleach and water solution daily.
      • Provide a high-level disinfectant and ensure it is easily accessible. High-level disinfectant: Mix 125 ml (½ cup) of 5.25% bleach with 1 L (4 cups) of cold water. Ensure equipment is fully immersed in the disinfectant for a minimum of 10 minutes. Prepare a fresh bleach and water solution daily.

      • Keep disinfection records for one year at personal service setting and keep readily available for an additional two years.
