      • Used nail single use nail files are not discarded after use and stored in the drawers. Operator is advised to discard these immediately to avoid any contamination from these the other supplies. Operator discarded these at the time of inspection.

    • 17. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Critical)?
      • Operator indicated that re-usable equipment/ items are washed in the backside sink. Operator further indicated that backside sink is also used to wash food containers of the employees. Operator is advised to wash re-usable equipment/ items in a sink dedicated for its purpose. Two sinks are provided in front of the facility. Operator is advised to use one of these two for equipment washing.
    • 29. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained to allow for the safe and sanitary provision of personal services (Non-Critical)?
      • Countertop around the backside sink is not in good repair. The strips around the sink are stripped off. Operator is advised to repair this and maintain in good repair.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this personal services facility (Critical)?
      • Bulk supply of circular nail files is observed contaminated with nail dust from customers in the drawer of one workstation. Operator is advised to protect the bulk single use items from contamination from nail dust at the workstation. Operator discarded the contaminated circular nail files at the time of inspection. Used nail files are observed in drawers of some stations. Operator is advised to discard single use items after using them on one customer.
