- *Evidence of reuse of single use mani/pedi tools. (e.g. foam style/cupboard interior nail files). Files were wet and sitting on a towel next to other tools. Immediately discard and stop reusing single use items. Ensure single use equipment is used according to manufacturer instructions. Discarded during inspection.

- *High-level disinfectant was not available for reprocessing reusable mani/pedi tools. Toolbox was filled with barbicide. Operator indicated items are reused after its cleaned and disinfected. Discussed manufacture does not have a label claim indicating products can be reuse.Reviewed with operator AHS EPH poster of the types of single use products not allowed to be reuse. Poster will be emailed to operator. Immediately stop reusing single use items and discard used items. Ensure single use equipment is used according to manufacturer instructions.

- *High level liquid disinfectant Preempt CS20 was expired (July 19, 2024). Stop using disinfectant and get new disinfectant. Ensure only non-expired disinfectant are used. *Tools were not fully submerged in high level disinfectant. Disinfectant was being stored in a barbicide jar, tops of tools were not in the high level disinfectant. Discussed tools must be fully submerge in high level disinfectant. More disinfectant is needed if operator is using a barbicide jar or change disinfectant container. *No high-level disinfectant test strips were available to monitor the concentration of high-level disinfectant during the reuse period of 14 days. Discussed the importance of the test strips, please get test strips.*No high-level disinfectant testing logs were being maintained. Discussed high level disinfectant is required to be tested, and documentation of test is required. Reviewed AHS EPH high level disinfectant log template. Template will be emailed to operator. Please start testing and documenting.*Preempt ready to use disinfectant wipes were expired (November 2024). Stop using disinfectant. Ensure only non-expired disinfectants are used.
