Fill the basin with water above the jets, add detergent and recirculate for approximately 5 minutes. Drain, fill with water and recirculate again to rinse. Drain, fill with water and add an intermediate-level disinfectant such as 20 ml (4 tsp) of 5.25% bleach with 1 L (4 cups) of cold water (e.g., 20 L foot spa would require 400 ml of bleach).
