      • The shelves under the hair tints have patches of stains in a few areas.Clean the shelves and ensure the shelves are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.

    • 08. Is hand hygiene performed by the personal services worker when required, in a proper manner and are provisions available to perform hand hygiene?
      • A spray nozzle for hair washing is attached to the handwashing sink as the hair washing sink nozzle currently does not function. Repair the hair washing sink, remove the nozzle from the handwashing sink and ensure the handwashing sink is available at all times for proper hand hygiene. Operator indicated a new sink is on order and should be arriving in the next few weeks.Temporarily use a handwashing sink in a nearby washroom/room until the sink is repaired.

      • The following areas require some cleaning: -The waxing pot. Please clean the indicated areas. The cleanliness of the waxing pot has improved, however, some more cleaning is required.

      • 1. A pillow on the waxing table is noted to have hair on it. 2. A red blanket is noted to be stained in a few spots. 1. Launder or remove the pillow and ensure all pillows are maintained and stored in a clean and sanitary condition, free of potential contamination. Operator removed the pillow at the time of the inspection. 2. Lauder the blanket and ensure all blankets are maintained and stored in a clean and sanitary condition. The PHI placed the blanket in the laundry basket at the time of the inspection.
