- There are no facility-specific written procedures for: - The cleansing of skin and mucous membrane (for waxing and threading) - Client care in the event of an accidental skin cut or punctureCorrective Action:- I provided a copy of the AHS written procedures template to the owner/operator.- Ensure you complete these procedures and follow them.- Also, ensure you have the equipment/materials for the procedure above such as first aid equipment.

- A product for the cleansing of skin is not used before waxing or threading.Corrective Action:- Usa a product for cleansing of skin prior to waxing or threading.

- Owner/Operator does not have way to measure the required amount of Barbicide for proper dilution of this disinfectant. The manufacturer instructions on the label state to mix 62.5 ml of Barbicide in 1 liter of water. (This is equivalent to 2 ounces of Barbicide in 32 ounces of water, or 1/4 of a cup of Barbicide in 4 cups of water)Corrective Action:- Ensure you are following the manufacturer's instructions of this disinfectant.- Ensure you have a way to measure the correct volumes of Barbicide and water for mixing.
