Upon review, it was clarified that this product is a cleaner and not an approved disinfectant.3. The operator was advised that only approved disinfectants are to be used for the disinfection of tools and equipment. Additionally, all disinfectants must be prepared and used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure effectiveness. Education was provided regarding correct disinfectant practices, including the proper preparation and use of Barbicide solution, to reduce the risk of inadequate sanitation and cross-contamination.
- 18. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Non-Critical)?

- Combs placed in Barbicide solution were not cleaned prior to immersion. The operator indicated that the combs had been left in the solution for approximately one week.
