      • The facility did not have written procedures on skin cleansing and accidental skin cuts or punctures.AHS templates were provided to the operator.
    • 17. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Critical)?
      • Hair with debris had tangled onto the pucks in the pedicure basins.The pucks were removed during the inspection.Disassemble equipment to its simplest component for proper cleaning and disinfection.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • The high-level disinfectant log was not completed daily. There were no records for 3 days in August. Monitor the disinfectant daily and ensure written records are maintained. Also, indicate when the disinfectant is replaced.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this personal services facility (Critical)?
      • Some chemicals at the manicure and pedicure stations were not labeled. Label all chemical bottles.
