      • Written procedures for client care in case of accidental cut and puncture and decontamination of dual-purpose sink not available.The written procedures were reviewed with the operator.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • The operator was using lash curler and tweezers. The tweezers were used only to fix the fake lashes and is not being used as a semi-critical tool. The procedure to clean and disinfect the tweezers was discussed with the operator. Pre-empt RTU (an intermediate-level disinfectant) was available. The operator did not have a high-level disinfectant to disinfect lash curler after each use.The facility does not meet the requirement of a designated reprocessing sink for disinfecting semi-critical tools; therefore, the operator voluntarily decided to discontinue the use of lash curlers.
    • 31. Are sinks accessible and used appropriately for the personal services provided?
      • -Handwashing is occurring at a sink used for equipment reprocessing. Written procedure for decontamination of dual-purpose sink was reviewed with the operator.
