      • The operator could not adequately explain/ demonstrate the proper procedure for offering tattooing services.**Additional training is required.
    • 10. Is cleansing and antisepsis of skin and mucous membrane performed in accordance to written procedures and are suitable products being used?
      • The skin preparation procedure for tattooing described did not involve the use of an antiseptic.**Ensure antiseptics are used prior to any procedure that would involve breaking/puncturing the skin.
    • 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
      • Some cosmetic products including tattoo inks were not adequately labeled.**Ensure all cosmetics used meet the labeling requirements.
