- PreEmpt RTU is used to disinfect the reusable equipment. Semi-critical equipment such as nail clippers, nippers and cuticle pushers require a high level disinfectant. PreEmpt RTU is considered an intermediate level. Please obtain a high level disinfectant for the reusable tools. The label must indicate that it is a high level disinfectant and have a DIN.
