      • Single use nail files were being reused.Discard single use nail files after each use.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • Facility was using HLD 5 for disinfecting reusable semi-critical tools (nail clippers, cuticle nippers etc). Staff said tools were being disinfected for 2 minutes in the HLD 5.If using HLD 5 for disinfecting, a 5 minute contact time is required.
    • 29. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained to allow for the safe and sanitary provision of personal services (Non-Critical)?
      • The surface of the waxing bed was damaged and peeling off.Either have the waxing bed reupholstered with a washable surface, or obtain a new waxing bed.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this personal services facility (Critical)?
      • Facility should have a Food Handling Permit. Facility was offering coffee/beverages in reusable cups, and facility should have food on site to satisfy AGLC Liquor License requirements.Obtain a valid Food Handling Permit.

      • 1) Tools were not being immersed completely in HLD5 (not enough liquid).-Tools must be completely immersed-Operator refreshed the HLD52) No HLD5 was onsite at beginning of inspection.-Operator had staff bring HLD5 during inspection
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • No surface disinfectant was available at beginning of inspection.-Operator had staff bring PREempt RTU during inspection
