      • A few things noted and discussed during the inspection:Extension cords are generally not utilized in mechanical rooms.The electrical box was noted to have rust on the sides and top, but not on the front; it almost seems that this type of box should be installed within a wall. Please have an electrician confirm that it complies with code and poses no safety risks. ADVISED ELECTRICIAN IS SCHEDULED FOR LATER IN THE DAY. I ALSO OBSERVED SOME STRAPPING COMING OUT OF THE WALL (SEE ATTACHED PICTURE)The utility taps need a vacuum breaker to avert backflow. CORRECTEDThe screen on the HVAC system is obstructed by what appears to be an exoskeleton, likely due to calcium and moisture; cleaning is necessary. CORRECTED

    • 03. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this pool premises (Critical)?
      • Some of the tiles are missing around the hot tub. These need to be replaced.As discussed, the test kit needs to be cleaned and/or replaced. The scoop has buildup which will not allow for a proper measure. Also, the box that hold the pool chemicals is in poor condition. Please clean or replace.

    • 04. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this pool premises (Non-Critical)?
      • New patio furniture is in place around the pool deck which consists of chairs (23), loungers (4) and tables (6). As discussed, it seems very crowded, and I recommend removing some of the furniture. Of specific concern was a lounger pulled up to the edge of the hot tub, which a child might figure would be fun to jump into the pool from. There needs to be enough room around the edge of the pool in case a rescue operation is needed i.e. don't want to be moving furniture out of the way. You may also want a sign on the tables reminding patrons that no food is permitted in the pool area.
