    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • Sand/debris was observed on the bottom of the whirlpool basin, and staff advised recent filter-related work had occurred. Filtration and circulation systems must be maintained to prevent debris from entering the basin and to support safe water quality. Please assess and repair the filtration/circulation system as needed and remove the sand/debris from the basin.
    • 11. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit?
      • No valid AHS pool permit was available at the time of inspection. A pool cannot be operated without a valid AHS pool permit, and once available, the permit must be displayed in a conspicuous place where it may be easily seen by patrons. Please ensure a valid AHS pool permit is available prior to operation and posted in public view.
    • 12. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Critical)?
      • Documentation was not available at the time of inspection to demonstrate that the whirlpool suction outlets/main drains and related system comply with current anti-entrapment requirements. Owners must be able to demonstrate anti-entrapment compliance for suction outlets and related equipment. Please provide a completed anti-entrapment compliance plan and supporting documentation for the whirlpool system, including outlet specifications, flow rating information, and any applicable device testing or certification records.
    • 15. Has an owner or owner's agent, if any, been identified and is the pool operated and maintained by a qualified pool operator?
      • The whirlpool operator is not certified; please ensure the operator obtains the Swimming Pool Operators Certificate offered by an accredited/approved company.
