- Maintenance is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the pool; however, at this time, none of the maintenance staff are certified pool operators. Staff member, Diana Sng, has completed CPO level 1 course. Proof of completion was provided.As defined in the Public Swimming Pools Regulation, a pool operator means an individual who operates and maintains a pool on a day-to-day basis and meets the qualifications set out in the Pool Standards in order to do so. As per the Pool Standards, the pool operator must be certified by an organization that is on the List of Approved Pool Operator Education Organizations approved by the Minister.ACTION:Ensure the pool is operated and maintained on a day-to-day basis by a certified pool operator.
