- 1. The Wahl disinfectant for clippers expired in August 2023.Obtain current disinfectant. Barbicide may be used as a low level disinfectant.2. The spray being used on the chairs was identified as glass cleaner.Ensure a low level disinfectant is available for disinfecting the chair between clients.3. Barbicide in use was not prepared the same day.Barbicide solution was dumped and a new solution prepared.Ensure barbicide solutions are prepared daily. It is recommended that solutions be discarded at the end of the shift.
