    • 02. Is the bacteriological quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Critical)?
      • Aug. 14/23 water sample had total coliforms isolated. Treat water to remove contamination and resample.
    • 12. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Critical)?
      • The anti-entrapment plans were reviewed. Plans indicated that the jet pump’s suction outlet covers have been expired since 2022. The covers looked intact during the inspection. Please replace the covers as soon as possible. It’s recommended to complete weekly physical checks of the covers each week to ensure they are still in good repair.

      • The anti-entrapment plans were reviewed. Plans indicated that the recirculation pump’s suction outlet covers have been expired since 2021. The covers looked intact during the inspection. Please replace the covers as soon as possible. It’s recommended to complete weekly physical checks of the covers each week to ensure they are still in good repair.
    • 12. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Critical)?
      • The anti-entrapment plans were reviewed. There is a potential anti-entrapment hazard with the recirculation system. The suction outlet covers are rated for a maximum flow of 123 gpm. The maximum flow rate for the recirculation pump is 135 gpm. The current flow rate is 118 gpm. The flow of the recirculation pump must be throttled back/ valve should be removed so that flow rate is operating between a min of 77 gpm and a max of 120 gpm. Please change the outlet covers so that the recirculation pump’s suction outlets are rated greater than the the pump’s maximum flow rate. Please update the anti-entrapment plan once covers are changed and submit it to EPH.
    • 13. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Non-Critical)?
      • One of the screws for the closest main drain cover (square one) was missing. Please replace.
