      • Measurements were taken with the Pool Test 2.0 equipment and readings of the whirlpool as follows:1) Free Chlorine: 3.47 ppm - in compliance with the minimum 2.0 ppm for water temperature >30 degrees C.2) pH: 7.85 - not in compliance. Please ensure this level is reduced to 7.6 and ideally should be around 7.2.

Readings for total alkalinity should be in the range of 60 - 180 ppm and follow-up should be carried out by the Pool Manager to increase the alkalinity to meet the above requirements.2) Ensure Alkalinity readings of both the hot tub and main pool are taken on a weekly basis.SEPTEMBER 10, 2025:Since the hot tub was not in operation at the time of inspection, the readings for Total Alkalinity, pH, and free chlorine were not measured with the Pool Test Kit.Subsequently, will need to be measured at a later date.

      • Bacteriological water sample collected from the hot tub on August 20, 2025 was found present for Total Coliforms and is subsequently unsatisfactory. Result was made available to our Department on August 22, 2025 and relayed to the Manager for her follow-up action.

      • Resample result collected from the hot tub on June 30, 2025 was now positive for Pseudomonas aeruginosa and subsequently not in compliance with bacterial pool standards.Total Coliforms count was ABSENT and subsequently in compliance.
    • 03. Is the bacteriological quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Non-Critical)?
      • Heterotrophic Plate Count (HPC) of 460 which exceeds the maximum limit of 100 or less for aquatic facilities.Hot tub should be drained, cleaned, disinfected, refilled, and then resampled next Wednesday July 2, 2025 to confirm the HPC has been properly addressed and lowered to <100 and ideally < 10.JULY 2, 2025:Resample collected from the hot tub on June 30, 2025 revealed a Heterotrophic Plate Count (HPC) of 2430 which is a significant increase from the previous result of 460.

      • New anti-entrapment covers for the suction outlets (2) in the hot tub component will tentatively be installed sometime next week.The hot tub was originally built in 2016 and normally the anti-entrapment covers for hot tubs are good for 5 years so new covers are required to replace the existing ones.
