- 1) Isopropyl alcohol used as a disinfectant for laser machine. **Isopropyl alcohol is no longer recognized as an approved disinfectant. Please use a low level disinfectant for disinfecting machine. Isopropyl alcohol is acceptable on the lenses on the machine after applying low level disinfectant to remove any residue. ***FACILITY HAS LYSOL WIPES ONSITE. 2) Protective eyewear were not being disinfected after being cleaned with soap and water. **Ensure the protective eyewear is disinfected with a low level disinfectant. ***FACILITY HAS LYSOL WIPES ONSITE.

- Small cracks were observed in both the client and technician's protective eyewear. **Replace protective eyewear. Highly recommend to not use cracked protective eyewear during service unless manufacturer instructions for use indicates it is safe.
