    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • Barbicide was dispensed into broken container, the container was only halfway filled with the disinfectant therefore, salon equipment such as combs were not properly disinfected (equipment not fully immersed in the barbicide solution).-Please provide a new container so that equipment can be fully immersed in the barbicide solution for proper disinfection.
    • 24. Are waste sharps disposed of properly?
      • The sharp container was over-filled.-Please dispose the sharp container appropriately and ensure sharp container is not over-filled to prevent undue exposed to sharps.Please take the sharp container to pharmacy shop around you for proper disposal of contaminated sharps.
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • 1. The waxing station was dirty, observed with layer of dust and hair residues around the wax container.-Please clean and sanitize the indicated area and replace the wax container.2. Hair residues were observed on the salon surfaces, equipment and inside of the salon cabinets.-Please clean and ensure the salon surfaces and equipment are kept in sanitary condition.
    • 29. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained to allow for the safe and sanitary provision of personal services (Non-Critical)?
      • The washroom had no soap and paper towels for proper hand washing process.-Please provide soap and paper towels to the washroom.
