      • HPC Count in Leasure pool is 480 from the bacti sample taken Oct 23, 2024. There were grade 4 to 6 class attending the pool on the sampling date. More than likely the kids did not take a cleansing shower before entering the pool. The kids need to monitored to ensure they shower before entering the pool.The bacti sample should be taken before the classes start at 9 am and the Free chlorine level should be boosted to 2 PPM it was according to the records at 1.6ppm and to handle this load of bathers in needs to be at 2 PPM or higher. If adults or kids appose taking a shower tell them that repeated high HPC counts in the pool can cause the AHS to close the pool.Our standard states that 2 or more consecutive high HPC counts requires closer of the pool until corrective action is taken.So I recommend telling teachers to tell kids to shower before entering the pool as an additional reminder to students. And your staff is going to have to monitor that showers have been taken.

      • Contacted Sonnia and the pool will be shock chlorinated and level overnight until 11aM tomorrow, The chlorine level on 26 was 3.5 Free chlorine. NO explanation for TC with a level of choline at 3.5PPM. Pool temp 31C total chlorine 6.5 PPM
