- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- High-level disinfectant test strips in use were expired, replacements within expiry were available and were put in use. Ensure additional test strips are obtained, as the replacement test strips expire August 31, 2026.
- 21. Is equipment that is intended to be sterile maintained sterile at the point of use?
- Razor blades and needle cartridges are maintained sterile until the point of use. Multiple packs of needle cartridges were observed to be within their expiry dates. However, some expired needle cartridges were observed at the first workstation. Expired needles were removed from use during the inspection.Ensure needle cartridges are checked for expiry dates, expired stock must be removed from use.

- Manufacturer's instructions for use of energy-emitting equipment were not available for reference by a personal services worker at all times. Ensure the manufacturer's instructions of energy-emitting equipment is kept on-site and accessible to personal service workers at all times.
- 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
- A bottle of expired ink was observed in the first workstation. The expired ink bottle was removed from use during inspection. Ensure all products are regularly inspected for expiry dates and removed from use when expired.
