- Two used nail files were observed stored in staff station drawer. Informed operator to discard and ensure files are only used once.

- Nail stations were observed to have acrylic dust around the inside areas of the drawers. Informed operator to ensure all stations are properly cleaned.

- The Pre-empt RTU spray bottle used for environmental cleaning and disinfection was expired. Please ensure a valid a spray bottle is available onsite.

- 14. Is single-use or uncleanable equipment being used as intended (Non-Critical)?
- Used nail files, and Dremel bit sanding paper had not been discarded.Ensure that porous items that cannot be cleaned and disinfected are discarded after each use.

- Some of the instruments being used were starting to develop rust, including and not limited to, the culticle nippers. Equipment should be inspected prior to disinfection, if equipment is not longer in good condition, it is to be replaced.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- 1. Disinfectant was not being changed daily, was not being tested with test strips, and testing was not being logged. If disinfectant is being used for multiple days, it must be tested daily and the daily tests must be logged. 2. Disinfection time is not being physically monitored. Ensure that manufacturer's instructions for disinfectant are being followed and that equipment is only soaked for 20 minutes and then immediately rinsed.
