      • The facility is currently using alcohol to disinfect their nail equipment. Nail equipment such as nippers, clippers and cuticle pushers are considered semi-critical items which require disinfection with a high level disinfectant. Alcohol is an intermediate level disinfectant. Please obtain a high level disinfectant for use on the reusable nail equipment. A high level disinfectant will state on the label that it is High Level and it must also have either a DIN or an MDL.
